Bi-directional, uni-directional and small volume provers are supplied by Skeltonhall Systems as part of a metering system or as an individual product. Provers are available for fixed location on a structural steel base or as mobile trailer units.

Skeltonhall Systems has developed two components
for improving the performance of meter provers - the 'Micro-set' meter prover sphere detector, and the 'Transphere' uni-directional sphere
interchange.The Micro-set, together with meticulous attention to detail during manufacture, consistently enables independent calibration authorities to achieve repeatable volumes to ±0.000% to ±0.005% on Skeltonhall Systems meter provers.

This accuracy is a considerable improvement on the requirements of the international standards and means greater fiscal accountability of expensive fluid products. Uni-directional meter provers when compared to bi-directional meter provers offer major benefits to operators of multi-product pipeline: lower pressure drop quicker 'k' factor up-dating less product interface and slops and Skeltonhall Systems' Transphere sphere interchange has brought a new interest in this type of equipment. The Transphere can be operated by a standard electric valve actuator or hydraulic powerpack.
